Piling on folks who aren’t economists discovering how tariffs work in real time and sharing their experiences doesn’t seem good
bro didn’t even reach out to his suppliers and ask if they were affected by tariffs before rushing to Twitter, just give the LPs their money back at that point bruh

Just published a paper with @mikejrob.bsky.social and Imelda showing the benefits of using dynamic pricing of electricity to help balance high-renewable systems. This could lower costs and help incorporate more renewables. Win-win!

I've been looking at cover letters / job packets for a bunch of econ PhD folks going on the job market, esp those interested in liberal arts colleges. Love it! I realize, though, that I believe so strongly in one piece of advice that I want to shout it from this particular rooftop:
