I'm a New Zealand teacher/facilitator with a passion for inquiry-based learning & learning with digital tech. Also love Lego, gardening and Dr Who. She/her.
I like this, I immediately recognised what it was, but in terms of placing yourself, the South Island works better than the North.

I can't read the article cos of paywall but I feel that everyone who writes about CGT should have to declare how many properties they own other than the family home/farm.

So sorry you have to put up with these dreadful people. Remember there are tons of people who support you and thank you for the work you did and the lives you saved. Kia kaha.

"... the elaborate decorations were instead made by Halloween super-fan Jayne Grundy who woke up extra early this morning at 5am to tie 24 balloons to drains around the city.

"I’m a big fan Halloween and I just wanted people to have a surprising morning with a bit of mystery."

Now if you haven’t read it, my friend Jessie researched and wrote a fantastic deep dive into the white supremacist roots of this endeavour in great detail, which was published a few days ago.

2 of my fave shows in the 1960s were Star Trek & Dr Who. Fave authors included Asimov, Pohl, Le Guin, Silverberg, Herbert and Heinlein. I (F) was watching & reading Sci-Fi before that idiot was even born. And I wasn't alone, we just didn't talk about it with guys cos of attitudes like this.

If they were going to donate it to charity why apply for it - wouldn't it be better spent by the council in the Waiheke community?

This is only one of the unions Primary Principals belong to. NZEI has approx. 650 Primary Principal members and they have not accepted the offer and will be striking with teachers.

The choices of the UK celebrities are great, most are actually funny, witty and/or intelligent people. Loved the first 2 episodes.
So much better than the US celebrity version - I watch that one only because it is such a train-wreck it is funny. Oh and because of Alan Cumming of course.
