Yes, Harris and Walz could have hammered that and constantly run ads and graphics demonstrating "COVID spiked inflation globally and impacts us, but our policies have helped us do better than almost every nation."

Here's your proof that @cbsnews.com payoff to Trump was pure corruption. Absolutely nothing from CBS can be trusted.

Sadly, @60minutes.bsky.social proved it's doubly true of that once-proud show. Ironically, @cnn.com collected the receipts: www.cnn.com/2025/11/03/p...
Fact check: 18 false claims Trump made on ‘60 Minutes’ | CNN Politics
President Donald Trump littered his new “60 Minutes” interview with a wide-ranging assortment of false claims, the vast majority of them previously debunked. We counted at least 18 inaccurate assertio...

Not as bad as the financial disaster Trump will pass to his successor, but equally despicable.

Thanks for the excellent story, Jacob. @msnowreports.bsky.social: please, much more reporting like this on how people are organizing to impede the trump regime's terror tactics and naming the local groups they can support
November 18, 2025 at 12:36 PM
The Regime's corruption is so pervasive that it often fails to grab mainstream headlines anymore, so sharing these stories is critical. Not because it's the most urgent issue, but corruption reports have greater potential to erode support among many trump voters. Thanks @propublica.org

One opportunity: an aggregated system that enables people to pay for articles without committing to a subscription. I'm often intrigued by an unfamiliar writer and would contribute a "prepaid dollar" in their tip jar to sample their work, but won't buy a subscription to sample one piece.

I've never seen a list like this that I agreed with so much--did they forget to include a couple of ridiculous entries to ignite flames?

"Standing up to Donald Trump didn't work."

Dems are 6 days removed from their best election day performance in modern history! Again, we can't beat the Trump Regime until we purge Schumer and his spineless cohorts.
November 10, 2025 at 2:08 PM
I believe none of them are up for reelection in 2026, which would mean there are many more complicit Dems and the vote was orchestrated to prevent any Senators from having to own their actions in 2026 races.

Sure, but going six years with citizens having no zero to change the Senate seems to be no less anti-majoritarian. The length of the term seems more significant than the staggering.
November 8, 2025 at 10:53 PM
Re "senate elections are staggered is counter-majoritarian." Can you share your reasoning on that? I'm a political wonk, but that's not clear to me.

If @apnews.com ethics don't prevent this, they need immediate revision.

Good to see citizens are distinguishing symbolic expression from actual violence. These reports should include an approximation of how many serious injuries DHS/ICE thugs have inflicted on civilians and much taxpayer money the Trump Regime squanders on garbage charges.

GREAT to see that Mamdani recognizes that playing offense against runaway corporate power is necessary to achieve the promise of making life more affordable!
November 5, 2025 at 7:10 PM
Jeffries is just despicable. He refused to endorse the candidate (Mamdani) he'll spend the next two years pretending to have as a teammate until the outcome of his race was certain.

Thanks, and please repeat this thread periodically as the Times continues its campaign against progressive candidates in the run-up to the mid-terms.
November 5, 2025 at 1:29 PM
Yes, this is so true. Please keep drumming that message in hope that some progressive funders are among your followers!

Any thoughts on whether this spanking is going to make some GOP state legislatures rethink gerrymandering schemes that rely on the premise that they'll win slightly right-leaning districts?
