Really looking forward to Celebrini, Cherny, and Graf/Smith as line 1 and Misa, Eklund, and Smith/Graf as line 2, as those kids mature. 😳😳😳.

Macklin is playing like he’s a S tier league superstar in his 6th season prime. Except he’s only 19 and in year two. It’s un-f-ing believable.

Celebrini trick watch now…

He tried to get to that one. Black on now

They quite possibly would have won a goalie interference challenge ask Askarov’s glove was contacted by a flames stick, but given that the NHL is just random when it adjudicates goalie interference, so not challenging up 2 with 6:30 left was the right decision.

Would have been cleaner had he tucked it 5 hole, but that knee bounce was deliberate. Wow.

If Askarov did that on purpose, lolz.

“It’s far better to have led and lost than to never have led at all” —Penguins locker room, probably.

This reminds me of the trip last year where they came back on the Islanders late and then had that crazy game in Detroit where they came back from 4-0 in the second. This year they did it to Toronto and Pittsburgh instead, but it was the same second east coast trip last year.

Or not…. 😳😳😳

You almost don’t WANT them to call icing on the other team in OT. You’d rather have the puck than the face off 3 on 3.

I’ve been saying for a while now that Graf reminds me of Joe Pavelski in that he’s a guy who got passed over in the draft whose on ice contributions are greater than the eyeball test. He’s got a long way to go to live up to Joe Pavelski comparisons, but, I do think he ends up top six routinely.

The follow up barracuda power play was terrible. 🤪.

I’m late, but this will never die. :)

…and usually has seven.

In fairness to Goodrow, Unless they replayed the wrong thing in arena tho, what the hell?

The sequence when the Cuda setup shop and started cycling the puck and generating scoring chances in the offensive zone while short handed was certainly something.
