If this Hazelton person really has a PhD with a thesis on counter insurgency, that would go a long way in explaining why US foreign security policy is so famously unsuccessful. This shacks remark is on the same cluelessness level as Macfarlane offering a cake and Bible to the Iranians.
That's a prosperous looking home with that vehicle and all. How many Jamaicans can afford to put up panels? Do they have to own their homes to do so? Do their homes need to be very sturdy, not shacks?

I would have thought a worm like Merrick Garland would have felt no shame about letting Trump get away with treason but, AFAICT, Garland is not writing a book so maybe he does feel a tiny pang of guilt about taking a dive on the whole thing.
The fact that he was allowed to get away with this is still infuriating. He never even disputed that he stole the documents.
