oh boy, needing this reminder myself again.
You also have to avoid energy vampires. I'm sorry even the morally aligned ones. You cannot craft a strategy for your family to achieve beyond your ancestors' dreams & your little queer rocketship cannot blast out into escape velocity if all you have in your ear is people screaming NOTHING WILL WORK
And this point about leverage is central. I think one aspect that a lot of knowledge workers and people who make their money with their minds miss is this though: you have to be laser-focused on where your creative work can build you leverage

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.
