Moving in day…

Today I read about the theory of “Positive Disintegration” and I find it fitting as a metaphor and to add context to the work I am publishing, the reconstruction of my art studio and my own personal growth journey.

It was when I was working on my last commission that I realized that my workspace was not optimized for transitioning from teaching, to fine art, to my art licensing business. Another “before” pic to document the studio transformation. Also, I hate carpet. #artstudio #art #artist #diy

Dismantling my studio to transform it to a space that conforms to me and my long-developed and varied workflows. The goal is fluidity with enough structure for natural progression between physical and digital media. Documenting the process.

Can’t wait to dive in to this beauty. Reconnecting to the art of pattern after landscape painting is a joy.
