Agreed. I didn’t like his last solo record but I don’t think it was bad, per se, just not to my liking. But I appreciate what he’s trying to do

Coincidentally, have you ever heard Kevin Max's solo record on Northern Records? Very good. At least, I think it was good back then (2003? 4?). Not sure if it's held up.

Haha. I didn’t know about the Further one. I I know Innocence Mission did a lullaby album (I think) but yeah, never heard of someone doing their own conga reworked this way. SF59 innovates yet again. Wouldn’t have guessed it in 1995.

When I was doing Christian alternative radio in the 90's and 2000's, we didn't quite know what to do with Roadside. We had a few songs in late-night rotation. At the time, I never "got" them but now that I'm older, I know I really missed out.
