One way out.
The last US bubble not to receive a government bailout when it burst was 25 years ago. It’s amazing to see how a bailout of tech can even be considered when arguably not having a bailout last time is what made companies like Amazon and Microsoft stronger in the long run.

If even SNL is going knives out for Trump, that’s a pretty good indication he’s toast.

One thing the Epstein emails show is he was basically doing the “Push it to the Limit” montage from Scarface for more than a decade.

Even if they weren’t directly involved, any politician or Wall Street exec of more than 20 years had to at least know what Epstein was about and didn’t care.

My 2028 primary vote to whichever Dem candidate promises to make a video set to Run DMC’s “The Kings” of all the gaudy gold shit in the White House being destroyed.

It’s not surprising that Vance cites Gangs of New York as one of his favorite movies but somehow forgets the part where the Catholic Church sides with the immigrants.

Running for Congress on a platform that it should be illegal for Microsoft to ask you to upload an email attachment to OneDrive if you’ve already dismissed that question once.

Cracks are forming in MAGA between the “we aren’t racist enough” and “we aren’t killing poor people fast enough” factions.

At least we have confirmation now that the entire government for the past decade was willing to cover up for Trump in order to protect other pedophiles and enablers that were involved with Epstein.

The finale of the great TV comedy show Blackadder goes Forth.
Back then I didn't expect one of the funniest programmes ever to end with a scene that makes me cry every time I see it.
Every single time.

Me when I’m quiet quitting a job:
VAN SUSTEREN: Is the Republican healthcare solution going to go into effect at midnight on Dec. 31? Because people are gonna get sticker shock

MIKE JOHNSON: We have November and December to work on it

Two things can be true:

The majority of voters will not remember how the shutdown was resolved.

The people who always vote in primaries, canvas for candidates and donate to campaigns will remember how the shutdown was resolved.

I want the shutdown to end. I want SNAP to be fully funded and I want federal employees to get the backpay they’ve earned.

But any CR passed by the Senate that requires House approval but that doesn’t include an extension of ACA subsidies puts House Dems in an incredibly shitty position.

The Roberts Court having to choose between defying their god king or taking food out of the hands of millions of children is some next level US series finale writing.

Either they weaken the unitary executive theory or turn expanding the Supreme Court into a moderate position.

AC/DC is great because their catalogue is mostly songs about either sex or murder and both types are used to pump up stadiums full of people at sporting events.

It won’t be long before there’s more GOP votes in the Senate for impeachment than getting rid of the filibuster.
Trump: "The way to do it for the Republicans is to terminate the filibuster. They call it the nuclear option. This is the second form of nuclear. This is a good form."

One thing I’m curious to see play out is Dem governed states fully funding SNAP while GOP governed states don’t. I can’t see how that doesn’t make the GOP look terrible and further ratchet up the pressure on them.
NEWS — The Oregon Department of Human Services has issued 100% of November SNAP benefits, per an alert on their website. I've received reports that the funds have already hit recipients' EBT accounts.
