While browsing through my Complete Far Side collection I came across these two cartoons that are basically the same but with different captions. They must have come from the same rough idea/sketch but they are subtly different.

I think there is a rather narrow window of time and circumstance you would need to have been born into to think this is funny.

But I think it's absolutely hilarious

My son is fascinated by classical music and composers so we spent some time with Dall-E last night making silly pun images.

I shudder to think of the amount of compute that was spent behind the scenes to generate these

I’m trying to get Dall-e to generate an image I’d call “American Idolatry” but it’s resisting
