#scifichat sadly I’m not going to #worldcon this year. And now suddenly I am booked during #Scifichat so will miss a lot of that. Currently rereading #Murderbot Diaries on Kindle where it is big enough to see. Still and again fascinating series.

#scifichat Oy I missed last week’s chat! And next week I have a scheduled meeting in that slot. Still trying to conquer my life.

And once again I clean forgot! I only checked my calendar for the first time when the chat was over! Friday is stuffed with to do and hurry up.

#scifichat has to be that human labor is cheaper than droids. or that droids are not interested in farming because they don't eat?

#scifichat I don't need a dancer, I need a cook and laundry folder and maybe a junk sorter who can hang a picture, repair drywall and irrigation leaks, trim trees and restock groceries. Dancing optional.

#scifichat slow news week gives a chance to catch up. There is stem cell regeneration of hearing in mice, and new math raising suspicion that gravity is not a fundamental force.

#scifichat but this was before computers, so I have to retype it, or fiddle with scan and ocr. either way is a few hours and I don't see a market for it. I think it would sell as a film script. Maybe I can do that. but I have so many other projects, I need another 50 years of work!

#scifichat while packing up old manuscripts, I found a printout of a short story that was half finished done on request for an anthology that never sold. I read it and it was terrific so I suddenly knew the ending. Hope I can find time to finish it.
