At a No Kings protest today, I witnessed democracy at is finest. People from different walks of life came together to express dissent of the current administration. Though frustrated, they peacefully spoke, sang, cheered, thanked law enforcement, and blew bubbles. This is what democracy looks like.

I had to read some very long, wordy, well-researched essays about the characteristics of fascism in grad school when studying various political systems. I'll not subject anyone to them, but this document from Keene State summarizes them quite succinctly.
