The segment was the embodiment of “Old Man Yells At Cloud”.

I bought the tpb of the story, back in the 90’s, since that was actually more affordable than any of the individual issues. Compelling story.

As a friend told a scumbag ex: “Jesus maybe your co-pilot, but you’re still an a-hole.”

Stuff like this can be humbling when drawing a blank.

Definitely. Likewise when, later, Lois is exasperated that the Justice Gang knows Superman’s secret identity because he trusted them. She (understandably) thinks he should be more discreet, but we can see that he considers them friends and allies, so why wouldn’t he tell them?

Definitely. He didn’t cheer and he wasn’t relieved it was all over, he seemed disgusted that was the route taken.

Someone needs to sell recliners with wheels so people can move around without having to get up. They’d make a fortune.

He was trying to find a way to get it away from the crowd, but the size was too unwieldy and he couldn’t just fly away with it. Could have just used his heat vision to cut it open, but he didn’t.

I liked how he used his super breath to get that dog to safety when he was dealing with that giant creature.

I’ve been called petty and clinging to the past because I’ve made it clear there are people and acts by those people that I will never forgive nor forget. I’m not living in the past, I’ve moved forward, but there’s no absolution for those with no remorse.

The actor portraying Lex got rave reviews from those I saw it with.

Great cast and the depiction of Clark and Lois’ relationship was done very well. I dislike Guy, but enjoyed his portrayal in the movie. I’m not going to nitpick the movie. I enjoyed it and will probably buy a blu-ray copy if I get any gift cards for Christmas.

Could take in the performances more during the second viewing.

I saw it twice: first was solo and the second with family. Still tugged at emotions.

Him having ptsd is legitimate. He was known to break out crying, without warning and various things weighed heavily on him for the rest of his life.

Yup. Messed up. Before I knew what “Lost Cause” was, it all seemed like BS.

Yeah. He made sure his wife was taken care of and didn’t have to suffer from his financial follies. I think it was a 50% royalty that Twain got for Grant.
