It hurts all over again. Incredibly poetic, though.
It’s even fitting that everyone who didn’t know him as a character prior hates the card, lumping him in with other 3 mana broken cards like Nadu. Just like those lumping him in with the other black mages 😭

I see the chess clock conversation come back episodically and as someone who actually plays competitive paper Magic, it's jarring.
Chess clocks CANNOT WORK in paper Magic. There are WAY too many priority passes in a single turn for any two players, however competent, to properly handle such a clock.
