Oh. I didn’t read up on the details. This is that Trump Gaza plan he had with that horrible video?

314 Action (mentioned in the article) has been helping scientists and medical professional get elected to public office for years. Here’s the link to them:

Fundraiser at a polling place? Who’s the organization and what are they raising funds for?

Sounds like a great opportunity for building community and getting out the vote 🗳️

Headline needs to be, “Chicago woman demands justice after ICE officers collided with her car and assaulted her”

Oh no! I started following Teen Vogue years ago when my kids were little, and I was really impressed with them! Their political reporting was solid and substantive - just what good “citizens” need. I hope this doesn’t affect their age-appropriate fact-based coverage of sexuality and mental health.

How did that happen? I’ve got a bunch of SampleCases and used to have a BACS and never encountered it.

lol. The Star Trek enterprise needs to spend LESS on effects and more on writing and acting so they can deliver new seasons of the newer shows that have more than 10 episodes. Star Trek is fantastic because of the writing and other human elements.

Great event! I picked up a couple handfuls of whistles to give out to parents after their kids get their Halloween candy

Jesse Jackson’s “The Question is Moot” SNL sketch was both hilarious and hard-hitting against the Reagan platform. What a potent speaker!

Around Chicagoland (at least) it’s become pretty automatic for competitor candidates to try booting people off the ballot via signature challenges. I’m pretty sure it’s mostly a Republican practice. Probably because they can’t compete on the basis of ideas.

Fantastic!

I’m sure you’d get on well with Truman College Prof. Charles Abrams, who’s been using paper folding to teach biomolecular structure for years.

Given the T track record, it may not meet building code standards, in which case tearing it down may be the best thing to do

Oh, there’s some precedent for unnecessary high-powered armament. Just ask 1985 Philadelphia about the MOVE bombing

I now supply my NMR facility with pens that have a scrolled-up “ACS Strategic Plan 2025-2029” inside. Pen stealing is way down. And if anyone does one, they’re welcome to read it.
