I broke down and bought Wicked merch. The added appeal of 80s nostalgia was just too much to resist.

I’m not as good at remembering to take photos as @uptownone.bsky.social but here’s a favourite from four years ago; My youngest kiddo “helping” Darren make coffee.

Finally fringing! A 10:30pm show on the evening I get back from two weeks on Atlantic time may have been a mistake 😴 but I’m excited to see Edmontask tonight.

With the #TonyAwards being imminent, I was inspired to combine my love of Broadway and my love of all things data. The result is Broadway by the Numbers: A Tony Awards Dashboard

That park is the BEST! We visited it more than once when we were in Vancouver this past March.

Kudos to @thestar.com for their awesome election data viz tools! Has anyone got other examples of excellent data journalism from last night's election? #OpenData #DataViz #CdnPoli www.thestar.com/politics/fed...

Merry Christmas to everyone up late wrapping and assembling. Luckily the only assembly I had to do this year involved hot gluing googly eyes. The 7 year old asked for a “pet rock with just eyes and a sharpie mouth” 😂

PSA: Do NOT google Santa’s email address with your child looking on. I was able to quickly turn my screen away and avoid ruining the magic. Worst AI summary ever.

If you like wine 🍷 and bikes 🚲 I have a few spots left for this event on Saturday evening at my place. @maximumjill.bsky.social will be schooling us on the best wines you can get on a budget and $30 from each ticket will be donated to @bikeedmonton.bsky.social! #yegbike #yegfood

At long last I have found a bike “bell” that will work with pogies! 🎉🚲

Activated by a remote trigger, so I can press a button from inside my pogies. #yegbike

I thought the same. Dammit now I need to go see it. Also RIP my year end listening stats.

I ordered stickers! I'll save one for you. :)

The very first #yegbike #coffeeoutside was in MacKinnon Ravine on Friday November 21, 2014. @drdagly.bsky.social, @kub64.bsky.social, and @dshepyeg.bsky.social were all there, along with some other lovely folks who aren't on Bluesky yet.

It's the 10th anniversary of #yegbike #coffeeoutside! Word is @drdagly.bsky.social (the handlebarista) can't make it this week but I'm going to make sure there's coffee of some sort to share, so bring a mug. @coffeeoutside.bsky.social

Space Unicorn is a perennial favourite here. Sir Duke looks like a weird choice but was one of the annual songs in the annual bracket the school music teacher has the kids vote on.

The water boiler was going to be what I recommended too. They’re so awesome! But since you already mentioned that I will suggest these sponges. Best kitchen sponges ever.

Loaded up the kobo with some holiday reads. Which should I start first? (The cover image is wrong for the first one, for some reason).

It was a super interesting read and I learned a lot. I hadn’t realized the sheer amount of work that went into the costuming; even the extras’ attire was all custom made! And the book has lots of gorgeous photography.

Spent all my Victoria souvenir budget last week (and then some) on this dress from Smoking Lily. Worth it though!

I replaced a very old lightbulb today. From a time long ago when you could still buy CFLs and the term “shadow ban” had an entirely different meaning.

Currently putting together the #bikebus playlist for this month. Wave if you see us on the protected bike lanes in Queen Alex, Old Strathcona, and Garneau tomorrow morning. #yegbike!

Does this wheel and cafe lock look familiar to any #yegbike folks? It was found ditched in McKernan. These types of locks are fairly uncommon in Edmonton so maybe we can find the owner.
