Rule of law enthusiast. Proud husband and father of one.
I largely support Bernie myself and I obviously don’t think he’s anti-Semitic.

Can dig up more detailed souces when I have a moment but you can’t seriously suggest Corbyn’s Labour didn’t have a serious anti-Semitism problem. You keep spelling it wrong too, by the way. Semitism, with an i.

There’s an even larger Jewish contingent that opposes.

Whether the leadership is involved makes a big difference, doesn’t it? I don’t think anyone thinks the leadership of No Kings Day was in favor of violence. I think quite a few would say the leadership of BDS is at least partly anti-Semitic. I do think that matters.

Sorry, I disagree. There is plenty of evidence that some BDS supporters are indeed anti-Semitic. The general concept may not be, but there’s no dispute those people exist. I made no claim at all regarding the propriety of Israel’s current actions, which I am strongly against.

I’m curious how you expect to have a reasoned discussion with people behaving in this manner. It’s really quite rude.
June 22, 2025 at 2:38 PM
Not embarrassed at all. I just disagree with you.
June 22, 2025 at 2:31 PM
Wow, well argued.
June 22, 2025 at 2:31 PM
Did you read any of the article I linked? There’s plenty of correlation between the movement and anti-Semites. The general concept of BDS isn’t per se anti-Semitic but many of the leaders of the movement are.
June 22, 2025 at 2:31 PM
Nope. Sorry, I wasn’t aware differing views were banned here. My bad.
June 22, 2025 at 2:30 PM
Agree wrt Lander. He’s a better choice.

The general concept of BDS isn’t per se anti-Semitic but there is a very strong correlation between the movement and anti-Semitism. That much is pretty clear. Just look at the leaders of the movement.

Curious how you make this claim so confidently given the BDS movement is often considered to be at least somewhat anti-Semitic: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boycott...

Alex, there’s plenty of evidence suggesting the Iranians moved the enriched Uranium out of Fordo prior to the attack. It’s possible the centrifuges are gone but with that material they could still build bombs.

All due respect, sir, this is not 2001 or 2003. I doubt there will be much of a bump at all.

Curious which of the threats in here you consider to be true threats. The bar is pretty high here: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threate....

Seems like they should ask the local District Court for Mandamus to force this idiot to let them visit, per federal law.

To be fair, Bill Ackman is an imbecile.

I wonder if the 5th Circuit ever gets tired of being wrong all the time.
June 18, 2025 at 7:35 PM
Thankfully they are quite wrong.
June 18, 2025 at 7:32 PM
Time for a writ of mandamus I think.
