A dedicated team created our free, user-friendly guide for clinicians to help patients quit smoking pre-surgery.

Yup, this is why we need to respond to Sir Chris Whittys survey request about medical training for the future. We must plan for a workforce who can deliver healthcare aligned to needs of patients, the majority of which have MLTC. Similar, of course, for nursing/AHP @gerisoc.bsky.social

Brilli to have Drs Vernon & Law highlighting that 75% of deaths occur in people> 65yrs & we need to commission services that address needs of those living with MLTC, frailty, dementia, taking health inequalities into account. A system level approach is necessary @gerisoc.bsky.social
Yesterday, the Commission on Palliative and End-of-Life Care met for its ninth oral evidence session, discussing Commissioning and Funding.
