Because of this, many cloud-based AIs are considered forbidden for use at certain companies.

To mitigate this, some companies are spinning up their own, non-shared AI agents just to prevent (or contain) this sort of leak.

Short answer: Potentially less secure.

Most AI agents are "on the cloud" and use your inputs to train themselves. Which is to say, they are effectively sharing training data with all their users.

And people have successfully tricked AI agents into doing a "brain dump" (spitting out large quantities of their training data)

I was six years old at a faculty holiday party (My parents were both professors at the time) and me and another kid were drinking eggnog and decided to call it eggsnot.

We thought it was hilarious and couldn't stop laughing.

In retrospect, the 'nog likely contained a fair amount of alcohol.
