Oil Painter and former foster father… I ADOPTED!
I am playing “Zero Mission” now and then “Fusion” after. The only 2 Metroid games I have yet to complete before playing 4.

My first Metroid game was Metroid 2 on the gameboy. My grandmother bought it for me for Xmas, but I found it intimidating so I did not try to play it until a few years later. It is not the best Metroid game, but it really is not bad at all. It does have one of the best soundtracks of all time.

The characters are not unique enough, and the decisions they make are out of nowhere and just embarrassing. This feels like a school project rather than a movie. The original Cube was a great idea that nothing else in the series has been able to get close.

I thought the pacing was excellent for being over 70 years old. I was on the edge of my seat even though I knew what was coming because of countless parodies of this films iconic moments. It feels like every shot has been thought out, meticulously planned, and has a purpose for being there.

The 2 films felt different. The remake is more about Reeve and the life he now lives after his accident. The original is more about the life outside the window that Stewart witnesses. The block has its own charm, and every apartment has a story of its own, being interesting with little information.

This really paints a dark future ahead of us, and deep down it is about the selfishness and entitlement people feel and believe they can get away with. Also, what does it mean to be human when humans cannot live up to that expectation.
