Every single day I realize more and more how radically different Jesus and his message were from the people in this country who claim him. They wear the cross, the very instrument of his execution, while embodying the same tyranny, cruelty, and hypocrisy that crucified him in the first place.

Your rights are your rights because you were born into this world. The government has no claim on your rights. Your rights are your rights because you were born from the Universe. They cannot be taken away. Please, remember that and share this with everyone.

Focus on where your action actually matters…your art, conversations, community, maybe local politics. National/global turmoil is real, but obsessing over what you can’t touch burns energy.
