A shameful display of cowardice by the nation's largest law firms. This article should be required reading in every law school ethics class in the country.

Trump’s war on Big Law leads firms to retreat from ’pro bono’ work for underdogs
Major law firms are scaling back the free work they do for advocacy groups fighting the government in the wake of Donald Trump’s attacks on the profession. Interviews with over 60 lawyers and 30 nonprofits show legal aid groups now have fewer resources to defend the vulnerable.

"We fear that if this bill passes, a village in rural Alaska might lose its one-and-only grocery store because of a drastic decline in SNAP dollars. It might also lose its sole health care clinic or hospital because it cannot sustain its services with decreased Medicaid reimbursements."
“The likely impacts from the ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ are particularly ugly for our home state, Alaska,” write Bryce Edgmon and Cathy Giessel, two state lawmakers. “The bill being rushed through Congress is based on a one-size-fits-all approach that does not reflect these realities on the ground.”
Opinion | The Big Beautiful Bill Will Be Ugly for Alaska
Congress’s one-size-fits-all bill doesn’t take into account the realities of life in Alaska.

Whether Judge Boasberg was correct on the law is largely irrelevant to whether the government is in contempt for willfully disobeying it. If the Trump administration knew there was an order from a federal judge and then willfully violated it, that is the end of the analysis.

It’s just a matter of time before DOGE needs you to fix the mess they inevitably create.

They will have to hire your company as a contractor to fix it. But on your terms.

The first measles death in the US in a decade -- the tragic, preventable death of a child whose parents chose not to protect them with vaccination -- should spark an immediate nation-wide campaign to ensure all children are protected against preventable diseases. Anything less is unconscionable.

Anyone want to bet that no one looks at the email responses that Musk asked for ?

It requires too much manpower and organization. Even w/AI

He will hold them in the event he has an interaction with someone.

If so, he can look up their response or lack of, and use it as cause for action.
