@cancersuckless.bsky.social helps us acknowledge the reality of treatment an cancer care together we and others can help put a focus on mental health especially PTSD that comes with cancer and treatments and living with cancer so that nobody has to think living with PTSD from cancer is acceptable

it's anxiety mood swings insomnia detachment isolation flashbacks and horrible nightmares

Mental health needs to be a higher priority from the start but especially as the time goes by and months and years after diagnosis even if your not on treatment or cured, PTSD can still impact you greatly

and military people are the ones that deal with so much it took me a long time to begin to understand that my traumatic events through cancer are legitimate reason to suffer PTSD.

PTSD is different for everyone so I'm not going sit here and describe everything but for me
