Shame - I was hoping for an article about how he needed to turn West Ham into a working men’s club on the edge of Bolton

Have now rewatched Fight Club (and another film from 1999 - The Matrix). With both films I think the thing I enjoyed the most was the nostalgia of 1999 - the look, the music, the overall aesthetic and despite ironically the plot of the matrix a time before the internet was in your pocket.

They always seem to do this (other than on Boxing Day itself), their early December fixtures tend to be 7.30pm plus 8.15pm. I assume it is in the hope that anyone tempted to “turn over” at half time will turn to the other match. Also as yesterday was not a bank holiday, 6pm is too early for ko.

But would be much better to have more proper cycleways. Needless to say there is no way I’m cycling to Manchester in the winter.

Oxford Rd Cycleway is great, but getting there from Marple for someone who isn’t a confident cyclist and therefore doesn’t want to spend too much time on the A6 (or any road if I can help it) is pretty difficult - got a route which goes Chadkirk - Bredbury - Lancashire Hill - A6 - Fallowfield loop.

From time to time a litigant in debt claims will run these kind of arguments. I always think who is the person making money out of these desperate people? For an interesting history/analysis of Organized Pseudolegal Commercial Argument Litigants see Meads v Meads www.canlii.org/en/ab/abqb/d...
