Old people (and I am one) are the problem, both as politicians and as voters. There should be some sort of age related proportionality. If we assume life expectancy of 100, we can award each citizen 100 votes. You lose a vote at every birthday. An 18 y/o has 82 votes, a 65 y/o has 35 and so on.

I’d love it if one day a journo would ask one of these bozos, “Really? So what exactly are the differences between Communists, Marxists and socialists then? How will we know?”

So, we are at the bottom of that chart, including our 100% cover NHS. I have broken two arms as a child, nearly died in a car crash, recurrent pancreatitis inpatient on & off for a year, then major surgery to fix. Cost to me at point of use? £0. Same for my wife’s cancer treatment. U do u USA.

Interesting. That’s just less than £60K, which in the UK we would pay about 19% income tax + £3,211 (c.5%) annual “national insurance” towards the National Health Service, which is free at the point of use. eg I’m 61 & pay zero per prescription. Below 60 it costs £9 a prescription.

I wouldn’t if Goodwin was the Emeritus Professor of All Professors. Anyone choosing to be associated with Reform is beneath contempt. There is a long line of academically “intelligent” people (Hannan, Rees Mogg, Badenoch) who may be clever but are definitely idiots.
