Hot take: if I spend eight years and thousands of hours building a game, I've earned the right to share my opinion of whether people should play it. #gamedev #indiedev

A few weeks ago, I jokingly said I'd buy a pizza for the first person to get DOOM running in Logic World. A few absolute legends took that challenge extremely seriously and the race was on. I can scarcely believe it, but today, DOOM ran in Logic World for the first time

Unihertz Jelly Star. It's tiny, but it's packed with features -- NFC, fingerprint reader, programmable button, headphone jack, microSD or dual SIM, IR remote, FM radio receiver, and way better CPU/RAM/storage than you'd guess based on the size. Favorite phone ever!

If you're sick of enshittification, switch to products made by small teams who care about quality.

Shoutout to @obsidian.md, where I currently do all my writing and note-taking. This is what my screen looks like when I start writing a new document. Exactly what it needs to be and no more.

It was such a silly and whimsical little thing. This is what the UI looks like now, btw -- so sterile by comparison. "Personalize your gift with a little note" is a cute activity I want to do, "Gift Options" is just a task

I miss when Steam gifts each came with a mandatory "sentiment" that you had to choose from a dropdown of increasingly unhinged pre-made options. Ker Blam

I found this in a blog post from 2002, and I think it's very applicable to AI-assisted coding in 2025

BlackMagic cameras are really good about this. By far the best UI I've seen in a camera.

Making sandbox games is awesome because you get to see all the cool stuff people create with your systems. This pic was shared on the Logic World discord yesterday by trucksarenoisy -- it's a work-in-progress shot of their first ever computer. Brought a huge smile to my face :)

With persistent work, you can make incredible progress at whatever it is you're trying to do. It might take years, it might even take a lot of years, but persistence will do you wonders.

I didn't know anything about coding when I started. V1 of this game was trash. But I KEPT GOING.

So keep going.

When I was 12 years old, I imagined a video game about building circuits.

When I was 17, I started coding it.

I'm 24 now. We've sold over 10,000 copies, with just devs and no marketing.

A little obsession can go a long way. And we're just getting started.
