The Coalition Pro For Texas PAC spent millions over the last three years funding #PROJECTREDTX PAC and Texas Latino Conservatives PAC. The PROJECT supported Hispanic candidates for county elected offices while TLC provided Hispanic activists with leadership skills.

Pete Hegseth May be the worst nominee ever for a top level cabinet post. No leadership experience. Glorifies war criminals. Believes in torturing prisoners. Says that women are not qualified to be in combat roles.

Ds were afraid to tell Latinos how their lives would be impacted by mass deportations. Over 10M Hispanics live in mixed households of citizens and non-citizens. Many of those households will be driven into poverty with children losing one or both parents. @jherrerx.bsky.social

Trump says he is going to use the military for mass deportations. Tom Homan has said they will start with “criminals”. What is meant by that? Only folks who have been convicted in the U. S. of a crime? or

Education and economics researchers who use NC data: the NC data system is mentioned here. It would be straightforward for the state to extend that data to publicly funded voucher schools. But alas.

The Trump admin will revoke the temporary protected status of Haitians living in the U.S. They will be sent back to a disease-ridden failed state run by gangs. The Haitians helped create the economic come back for Springfield, Ohio. It is an act of cruelty to send them back.

Elon Musk is allowing Alex Jones back on X. Now Jones can spread his deranged conspiracies to the millions of X users. Jones had lost his InfoWars platform after he defamed the Sandy Hook parents. Elon Musk should be called to task for this. Every day thousands of users are fleeing X for Blue Sky.

Two things that I am now patiently waiting for regarding the new administration:

1. How the cuts to Medicaid will affect my two disabled sons (it covers substantial gaps in their healthcare and day-to-day support)
2. How cuts to the Dept. of Education will affect support f/ their school programs.

Here is my choice for running the DNC.
