Maybe I’ve been seeing too many political posts, but I first interpreted “we are selling out” as an admission of being co-opted, an announcement of becoming a corporate shill or something.

Along with the injustice and danger of this particular arrest of a journalist, I was sad to read here that the expansion of ICE activity began under Obama. I definitely don’t remember reading about that at the time.
