Backwoods Survival Guide 35 has been out for a bit now. You can find it just about anywhere magazines are sold. Our goal with every issue is to share practical, actionable information our readers can actually use in their lives, written by folks who truly know their stuff.

Recommended reading is always a popular topic in the prepper world. I maintain an extensive list, probably 50+ books, that I recommend. However, it can be a little overwhelming to see such a massive list. With that in mind, these would be my priority suggestions.

Today's dance partner is the Redhawk from Tactile Knife Co., designed by Taylor Martin from Best Damn EDC. I'm wrapping up my review for Tactical Knives, as it's due today. I'm not spoiling anything by saying that this has quickly become one of my favorite EDC knives.

The Dacian from @BenchmadeKnives is an ideal pocket carry fixed blade option for EDC. I'm truly loving the new sheath configuration, too.

Very saddened to hear that Malcolm-Jamal Warner has died. While he's most remembered for his run on The Cosby Show, it was his portrayal of Kurdy on Jeremiah that I enjoyed the most. He was a talented actor for sure.
