Now seen 27 shows at Toronto Fringe and while much of the buzz has been around musicals, if you are looking for some good drama, here are four plays I’ve seen well worth your time: James & Eddie, Justice for Maurice Henry Carter, The Adding Machine, Zeitgeist.

Wow! France gifted her to us, and now they’ve captured what so many Americans are feeling on Independence Day. The values the Statue of Liberty stood for are no more.

📌 A stunning mural of the Statue of Liberty covering her face was unveiled in Roubaix, France, on July 3, 2025.

Really happy to see Tim Walker on this list. I've worked with Tim on a bunch of projects and feel like he's one of the most underrated performers in the city. Go catch his show.
Happy First Day of #TorontoFringe to all who celebrate!

Here, ICYMI, is my list of 10 (actually 11) artists whose Fringe shows you need to see, with a bonus list at the end of some other talented ppl and their shows.

See you in line!

10 artists to watch at the 2025 Toronto Fringe
Some of them have decades of theatre experience behind them, while others have just a few shows. These gifted artists and their work are worth catching at this year's festival.

I voted against the Library cuts and moved a successful motion recently, for staff to report to Council about the restructuring.

There was a media release today from the City — and I’d expect more to come.

Thanks to the community for showing up on this, it’s made all the difference.

If a fully substantiated finding of abusive and intimidating conduct by the Integrity Commissioner isn’t upheld, then what’s the point of our Council Code of Conduct at all?

Sounded to me like #Leal was blaming councillors and citizens in attendence for his yet again explosive bullying behaviour.
Solidarity with @joylachica.bsky.social

What she experienced is finally coming out publicly—I was there. And it was bad. Despite the mayor’s statement today, he is not the victim here. The Integrity Commissioner’s findings are clear

We can’t let carefully worded statements downplay what happened

As Trump threatens us, Ford’s response is to grab Trump-like powers. #Bill5 would gut wildlife protections, fast-track mining, trample Indigenous rights & create law-free zones for trusted proponents or areas as designated by cabinet.

Pierre Poilievre's latest campaign commercial (you know, with the old white men golfing) was non-union, and the actors were paid thousands of dollars less than they deserved. But hey, he stands up for workers and unions and wants us to have powerful paycheques! Just don't ask to see the receipts!

TBH Carney gets a lot of points for not going off on PP for his empty repetitive talking points, inability to face reality and outright lies.
