Kind of need the details. I did not think they were breakable.

Thank you. It was precautionary because we didn’t “catch” the bat and now I’m immune for 10 years with a bizarre story. 🤣

Having had my own bat encounter this summer—and the 27 rabies shots that followed—I am not surprised at this fact. 🦇😬

I'm rarely sneaky, but I've maintained two library card memberships for seven years. *This* is my deep, dark secret 😂. No wonder no one will ever describe me as mysterious!

Going now to support their banned books display. Love Baldwin Library!

I know this was serious, but I always kind of think that exact thing when I pass a battery or mattress store. How many batteries and mattresses does society buy to keep them in business? Just wondering…

Great tip. I feel like I should have thought of this 🤦‍♀️. Keep them coming. Please.

I was a devoted reader of the late Amy Krouse Rosenthal's blog, ATM Always Trust Magic, back when we lived in Chicago. I laughed out loud when she did a Ding-Dong-Ditch with actual Ding Dongs on her city neighbors' steps. Everyone freaked out. She didn't think through the food-from-strangers aspect!

Thanks for the interruption 😉. I can stop doomscrolling now!

Yes and yes—And for the latest book they ordered, I learned about the book when an agent posted for their author on here. I love my library and the book birthday posts on here!

I have so many questions, but mainly I’m following you with the 🤞 of more pictures of this dog!

Breathtaking! We need to get to Alberta!
September 11, 2025 at 12:57 AM
Yay--on both counts! Congratulations!

Now that I’ve looked it up, I have to use “blowing a hoolie” in a sentence soon🤣

It is perfect with Glass Houses coming in as a solid second for me.

Gorgeous trailer!

True, but I received a very thoughtful pass from you with recs to colleagues. Not everything will fit your list, and I appreciated the time you took to respond. And it was your social media presence that had me querying in the first place—just like this!

Yes! And that's my sweet spot. Short usually leaves me wanting more, but I'm not willing to commit to a long book. In our house, we call it Goldilocks-syndrome, and I've got it for book length--medium is just right.

I'm answering as a reader that follows author events. I like simple.
• Add an “event” block to your home page.
• List a few upcoming events with a ‘read more’ option to the full list.
• Format location first then date. (I scan for things near me.)
• Include a clickable link to details.

I’m aimlessly scrolling and thought you were freezing origami. That intrigued me.

As someone who still loves The Witch of Blackbird Pond, I just ordered this from bookshop.org.
