Turned in my final grades today after a marathon grading session. I thought it went for about 4 hours, but it went closer to 7 😳 where was that level of focus at any point during the last 4 months????

Love being that adjunct prof who was so busy scrolling TikTok while walking to the library (micro dosing self-care?) that I didn’t see how the sidewalk was screwy. Tripped for what felt like an eternity in slo-mo while 2 lovely undergrads protected my ego and helped me gather all the things.

Thanksgiving happening so late this year is really throwing me off. So rather than gorging myself, I’m working on class prep to finish up the semester strong. Teaching my first grad level, fully asynchronous online class has been a grind, but I’m ever grateful for the opportunity.
