Every single person I grew up with (other than my brother and the vocal music majors), myself included, smoked growing up. And the real badge of honor was not just having a Zippo lighter, but being able to open with a flourish. Which required practice.

My refrigerator (who is a friendly yeti) gave me advice on how not to have a slice of bundt cake dry out in the microwave. My teddy bear offers life advice (see below) and tells bedtime stories. My dishware is a sushi chef.
It's ADORABLE.

The hot water heater and the bed are both very hot.
Date Everything! The water heater I'd an attractive woman with white hair framing her face, which turns into a ponytail that looks like ducting. She has blue lipstick, copper piping jewelry, her shoulder straps have the hot and cold water switches you'd find on a hot water heater, and her tip is half blue splash of water and half orange flame. She is a pink haired woman with clothes that resemble a comforter and a quilted mattress pad, while her corset looks like the wooden slats and headboard of a platform bed.

just sent me this, and while broadly true, I have to exclaim that in our case, no - we in fact bought our VHS from Kevin Smith & Jason Mewes themselves, at the original Secret Stash.
Or, my friend did; I was buying the first Oni Press double feature and a Mallrats t-shirt.
What looks like a drug deal happening until it turns out to be for a bootleg VHS of the Star Wars Holiday Special.

16 year old me dressed for my then-boyfriend (mostly cropped out as it would be weird to reach out to ask for consent; I haven't seen him since 1991)'s semi-formal (we went to different schools and met through a regional audition-only choir). My dress was black with delicate patterns embossed in a blue glitter that shed everywhere, but I thought it was very pretty. This is, without question, the tallest my hair ever got, and a friend had to do it for me because I failed (and, largely, continue to fail) at girl. She probably did my makeup for me, too.

My parents moved to Philly right around then, and I was really worried about them at first. But I grew to love Philly during their years there. It was good to us.
OK, yes, poor Hitchbot.
