I was born the year before TNG premiered, and my dad would watch it while I sat on his lap or in front of his chair. This is the episode I have the earliest memory of. Picard is making the Sheliak wait, and he dusts the dedication plaque to pass the time. Still one of the great Picard bits.

It was nice to get this email yesterday, as the blizzard really did wallop the KC area. Although I think that UPS might want to consider a different title than “Brown Bulletin”…

Saw this on my IG feed this morning. A persisting, non-removable ad for Meta glasses. Even a feed pull-to-refresh didn’t remove it. Only a force quit and reopen worked. I’ve never seen an ad on IG that couldn’t be hidden or blocked before. Reeks of desperation, in my humble opinion.
