As I've argued eleventy-billion times: You cannot beat your opposition by repeating your opposition. This both dissuades your base from voting, let alone acting as your "choir," it raises saliency of oppo's desired debate.

If Democrats weren't more interested in presserving their stock portfolios, as oppossed to dedfending Demcracy and the Constitution, they wouldn't be getting attacked.
