The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

As they are working hard to make Congress irrelevant these past few weeks (See Project 2025), people with kids/grandkids in school should be very concerned about this. Special education will drastically suffer.

I cannot remember the last time my heart has felt so sad and heavy for humankind. Or...lack of kind. I was raised Catholic and feel like everything that is happening is going against ALL I was taught. Just. So. Sad.
