Digging through the archives a bit. I love migration season when we get to see waterfowl who aren’t always around. We get common mergansers most of the time and sometimes a breeding pair sticks around. This was from early spring, 2023.

Returned from a magnificent trip to the Galapagos Islands in May. I thought some might appreciate the photos. They are wonderful at protecting their fragile environment. Blue footed booby taken from a Panga boat ( we know as zodiac ).

We like the northern cardinal here very much. For me, winter is a great time to get photo captures as they are puffed-up to protect from the cold. This is a female taking a quick perch. Note the frost.
