In London, many crosswalks are set a few feet back from intersections—not quite mid-block, but far enough to boost pedestrian safety and visibility. It’s a subtle design tweak that gives people space and signals drivers to slow down. Smart, simple, and effective.

Camden Market, a former warerhousing site in the Camden Town neighborhood, is a perfect example of how walkable spaces fuel local economies. Within just 5 mins, we saw dozens of cuisine options and endless vendors. Every inch of the space was used to support vibrant street life.
