Watched this too, or at least most of it. DNF. Found it boring and a retread of Burns’s earlier, superior, work. Great cast and the production looked very attractive visually though.

Make the GOP work the hard way for every win and worry about the future in the future. In the meantime, let’s have monthly fundraising drives when we all direct our energy toward boosting red-to-blue state parties for the ‘26 senate races: ME, NC, KY, IA, TX?, FL?

Senate Dems should deny consent for routine time agreements for even non-controversial nominees. The more time is saved up front, the more time there will be later to confirm 35yo FedSoc hacks to lifetime judicial terms. Warren would be better than Schumer at this.

Genuine question: in our system, does that make a difference? Judge Ramirez did not seem to explain her position, unless I missed it when I skimmed. What is the true upshot of this disappointing vote?
