it’s funny to be accused of supporting mass surveillance when cyberlibertarianism helped create the most comprehensive global surveillance system known to humanity — built out by the private sector, not the government. it needs to be dismantled, and that means upending the internet as we know it.
For decades, internet politics has been shaped by a cyberlibertarian perspective that obsessed about government while enabling the corporate dystopia we live in today.

The more I think about it the more I think that Baldur’s Gate 3 was the best thing to happen to videogames in a decade, not just because it was good, but because of how many good videogames we’re going to be getting 3-4 years from now because everyone saw it’s success
