Sen. Warner is up for reelection next year, and in more specific decision making roles for the party. He's obviously in favor of this as well but worried it would affect "his" vote. It is NOT his vote it is the voice of Virginians which he has not earned and does not deserve...

Virginians want public health care options, not double/triple/quadruple the ACA premiums as Kaine's yes vote has all but ensured. Virginians are pro trans rights. Virginians are pro feeding people. Virginians are pro calling genocide, genocide. Virginians are pro calling fascism, fascism.

The DNC and specifically the VA DNC are very wrong if they think that Virginia voting so strongly for Spanberger this month is an excuse to go hard for "centrism". If there were more progressive options we would have voted for them, like New York.

*Warner's seat is up sooner and he's the senior senator from VA and in more decision making positions than Kaine, I think this is his call...
