Aha, I was looking around for a way to post this question: Has anyone asked MLS players how they feel about the calendar change and/or what will probably be a weird transition to it so soon?
Players have a lot of power all of the sudden, MLS needs this to get over the line and players haven’t wielded their full PA power over the last few CBAs.
Compare that to what the NWSLPA is able to tout out of their last CBA negotiation.

If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?
