This assessment of Nike reminds me of N.B. Premier Blaine Higgs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He barred temporary foreign workers in order to encourage unemployed New Brunswickers to apply for jobs at fish plants and farms.
It didn't work. Only 250 people applied
