Of course that is also true about anime dubbing or whenever anything is dubbed in general. Purists are too damn critical. They are entitled to dislike, but if they are going to push their views on people that is overstepping it.

I love the new re-recorded score for this movie. It really adds to the picture. The synth version wasn’t bad, but this reworking gives the movie a lot more color IMO.

I did see the film first in Japanese, but I prefer the dub. The rescore in the dub adds to the movie and honestly other than the leads sounding older (which is no big deal) I thought the casting/acting was excellent.

Sorry but I cannot agree with the comment about the Disney dub. It may not be perfect but it is nowhere near terrible. I consider it good. If anything the older 80s dub made by JAL qualifies. Accurate or not, it is still hideous in every way. Disney’s dub is miles better. And I stand by that.

I never listen to the other language voice overs (in any game). I'm a big believer in having voice acting in all games, & I think that voice acting should be available and experienced in your native language for the most enjoyment.
In general, I think people to are too harsh about voicing in games.

Breath of the Wild’s voice acting was kinda sketchy but I cut them slack since it was their first. But yes, Tears of the Kingdom is a significant step up. Mercer stole the show as Ganondorf, but I thought everyone else also stepped it up there too.

He was amazing in Tears of the Kingdom’s and it is great to hear him again.

Tears of the Kingdom’s voice acting was surprisingly solid and a step up from Breath of the Wild and I am glad this one maintains that quality. Matt’s Ganondorf is especially good.
