Conservative turned progressive. Apparently, too many people care about their own wallet and not if a wanna-be dictator, corrupt, convicted felon, moron ruins the economy and abuses their power.
Apparently, Ive been blocked from teply to this thread. Let me be clear Newsome for sure is not super progressive and he is far from perfect. However, he is not remotely the same as Trump. Even if you view him as right of center, that is far left of what we have today.
I'm not comfortable predicting what he will or will not do. Democratic presidents have a bad history of continuing the policies of their Republican predecessors.

So the Constitution and US laws do apply to non-Citizens Maduro and his wife. This means all undocumented immigrants should get due process.

If the SCOTUS so much as carves out a niche in the 14th, that birth right citizenship can be revoked if the parents were undocumented, then this republic is finished. Or if birth right citizenship of foreign parents can be revoked if convicted, then we have a dictatorship.

They passed the infrastructure and jobs act and the inflation reduction act. They passed several bills that were meant to address healthcare issues that did not get passed in the senate due to Sinema and Manchin unwilling to override Republican filibuster.

What should not be lost from the shutdown… Is folks learned that Trump is not fighting for them. His efforts to block SNAP payments for millions of MAGA voters makes it clear he does not care about them at all. Trump hates rural people.

There are many people on here saying that all Trump voters are horrible and / or dumb people. I do not disagree, but I do think there is a 3rd category of smart people who are just dumb about politics. They just wanted a better economy and that is what Trump lied and promised them.
