Kawasaki looked faster, stronger, and fitter in this game. They were running circles around Nagoya. But perhaps that says more about Nagoya's ageing squad than Kawasaki

As far as longetivity of veteran players goes, Yonemoto ranks near the top. The man has been a J. League starter since 2009(!!!) but i really wonder if this is the position they need to be strengthening. Sota Kawasaki is a brilliant young talent in that CDM position.

If you could replace Urawa Reds with one team in the J1 league, which one would it be and why?
Draw for the club world cup happening. Atm best case scenario is Group A (Porto, Palmeiras) or Group F (Dortmund, Flumenese). I'm split on wether I'd want Urawa in a group with massive teams for the spectacle or in a group where they are most likely to advance. Such a shame it's Urawa who made it in

Seriously, how much patience does Nagoya have with Hasegawa?? 1000 days and 140 matches in charge with a much lower PPG than Ficcadenti and a worse, ageing squad that he hasn't managed to improve or future-proof. Dark times ahead at this rate.

Ended up falling asleep with laptop on chest lol. Anyway, it's all up for grabs on the final match day, but considering Machida and Hiroshima have tougher fixtures (and both play away), I wouldn't keep my hopes up.

Pulled an all nighter to watch this J. League matchday... Its 6am and I'm nackred, BUT kashiwa is ahead so it's all worth it. I won't pass on an opportunity to watch Hiroshima grab the title!
