In this specific case it's pretty blatantly illegal and lower level employees would be quick to get fired and blacklisted over it in any other presidency. I know it's silly to point out illegal things now but that's why it didn't happen in the past.

If not Myst then at least Riven (remake allowed). Unique in that they basically turn the experience of puzzle solving into doing anthropology and cultural immersion in a way any other medium would struggle to accomplish.

I have an American job, but with a French degree I'm the guy occasionally helping out Quebécois customers and I've been stressing about my first live call with someone happening next week (it's been all text and chat when French was needed so far) and this is comforting to read

(Yes, arguably that's the default position of Rs normally but as far as optics they want the govt churning along)

My wife teaches and has so many stories of kids faced with the slightest amount of discipline/conflict who just immediately get pulled out of school for the day by mom/dad

My wife's teacher pay is quoted as a yearly salary but actually calculated as wage hours and extra trainings, etc. get paid at OT. The only distinction here is how the job listings happen to quote the pay when you apply.
