i love dogs. dogs are wonderful but they are also animals who rely on their owners to teach them how to live in our human society. Dogs who struggle with this should be kept away from strangers and out of the public sphere.

Also there are dog owners who let their dogs roam around spaces completely un-monitored. i bring my cat to work and she was sleeping while a woman let her dog loose in the space and immediately tried to attack my sleeping cat!! god i was so pissed i wish i banned them from the store.

I have been so kind as to not call animal control because he will be put down if they get him. There has been over 5 bites in two weeks. It is obviously not just me. Its a problem he refuses to solve.

beyond that the dog owner had repeatedly lied about getting him fixed when in reality his true feelings is that neutering is "imperialism on dogs" or some bullshit. don't ask cause i don't fucking understand it either

But because everytime I come home the dog attacks me if he sees me, I cannot live there. Despite the fact I have done nothing to him. I have even previous fed him and walked him. I have never laid a hand on him.

But now I am the person responsible for finding a new roomie lest i lose my deposit

there is constant hulabaloo in the house. I work long hours so the dog sometimes rarely sees me. Thats not my fault.

my roommates dog keeps trying to maul me causing me to move abruptly.

and the worst part is that everyone else in the apartment doesn't care because the dog is ok around them (although they got bit)

They admit that the dog is incredibly aggressive towards me but won't concede that its a problem
