I've also found the genre classifications a bit off. It does seem to favour more of the sub-genres of electronic dance music.

Thanks Jean-Loup. It does seem like SoundCloud is better suited for certain genres. There does seem to be a lot of bots too, which makes engagement hard to analyse.
