Yes, Bush was a weak and corrupt guy who ended up doing terrible things, but there’s something that’s recognizably a person in there. Trump is a sucking void, indecent and unfit in almost every way a person can be indecent and unfit. He’s capable of any evil you can imagine if given opportunity
I think the difference isnt that Bush's presidency wasn't awful but that outside of his presidency he just isn't a terrible human being to the extent that Trump is. I'm not saying he's a *good* person: I'm saying I would trust him to watch my dog for the weekend. Trump would order Noem to shoot her.
